Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED Lens
Designed as a DX workhorse, the Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED is a 25.5-82.5mm-equivalent zoom characterized by its bright maximum aperture and sophisticated optical design. The fast f/2.8 constant maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also enables greater control over depth of field when working with selective focus techniques. The optical design incorporates three aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, which help to greatly reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range. A Super Integrated Coating also minimizes surface reflections, flare, and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy. Complementing the optics, this lens also sports a Silent Wave Motor for fast and accurate autofocus along with full-time manual focus control.
Standard zoom covers wide-angle to portrait-length focal lengths and is designed for Nikon F-mount DX-format cameras, where it provides a 25.5-82.5mm-equivalent range.
Bright constant f/2.8 maximum aperture affords consistent illumination throughout the zoom range and also affords greater control over depth of field for working with selective focus techniques.
Three aspherical elements are used to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion in order to realize sharp imagery with accurate rendering.
Three extra-low dispersion elements greatly reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce greater clarity and color accuracy.
A Super Integrated Coating has been applied to individual elements to suppress internal reflections, flare, and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions.
Silent Wave Motor affords quick, quiet, and precise autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override. An internal focusing design is also used, where only the internal lens groups are moved during focusing, to maintain the overall length of the lens during use and to promote faster focusing speeds.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm promotes a pleasing out of focus quality that benefits the use of shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques.
Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X 124 AF Pro DX II Lens
The Nikon mount Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X 124AF Pro DX II Lens is exclusively designed for use with SLR cameras that use Nikon's DX format (APS-C size). In addition, this updated "II" version incorporates a motor built into the lens itself, which gives it the capability to autofocus with all Nikon DSLR cameras, including the D40 and D60 series. Another benefit of the built-in motor is that focusing is quieter and more responsive. This lens provides a super wide-angle zoom range, ideal for the tightest of interiors, as well as for dramatic landscape photography.
This 12-24mm f/4 AT-X version II lens also benefits from improved multi-coating technology, which helps to reduce reflections that can cause flare and ghosting. The Focus Clutch Mechanism feature - a signature of Tokina Pro series lenses - provides a faster, smoother autofocus operation, with a smooth manual focus action not normally found in autofocus lenses.
Two Aspherical elements are incorporated in the lens design, to correct for spherical aberrations. It also incorporates internal focusing to prevent deterioration of the optical quality at close distances and to eliminate rotation of the front barrel during focusing.
Equivalent focal length in 35mm terms when used on a digital camera is 18-36mm.

20 x 30 Softbox, fitting Excalibur Studio Lights
I got this as a part of a sale lot that contained other gear on the Alien Bees line of lights. I can't use this softbox in my studio, and I'd rather give it away than toss it, or let it take up space in my studio any longer.
Kenko 6x Magnifying Loupe Slide Viewer
Man, this one hurts... I paid well over $100 for this on the day I walked into B&H's store in NYC. I couldn't leave without buying SOMETHING, and new lenses were out of reach. At the time, a quality loupe was essential for reviewing all of the slides I was shooting in the late 90's and early 2000's. But it's been sitting in it's protectivepouch since I switched to digital, so if you're looking for a high quality loupe at a steal of a deal, this is yours!
